Call for Abstracts - Quake Summit 2012
The deadline for abstracts Quake Summit 2012 has been extended to Wednesday, March 7, 2012 for posters and oral presentations.
The NEES Annual meeting (Quake Summit 2012) will be held July 10-12 overlapping with the CMMI Grantee Conference July 8-11 in Boston, MA.
Quake Summit 2012 will feature nearly 100 technical oral presentations on Wednesday July 11 and Thursday July 12 by members of the academic and practicing communities. A poster session will be held on July 11.
Topics related to NEES research, operations, Cyberinfrastructure, simulation, and education and outreach will be included. The technical committee is particularly interested in presentations related to use of NEES tools and data. Those interested in presenting, please submit the following information to http://www.nees.org/abstract by February 29 so that the schedule and sessions can be finalized:
- Presentation title
- Presenter name and contact information
- Abstract (200 words max.)
- NEESR Project Title and Award Number
- PI name and contact information (if different from presenter)
- Delivery preference (i.e., oral, poster, or both)
Presenters will be notified by March 28 of their acceptance to the program. The deadline for submission of final presentations is Friday, June 22.
Please note that all presenters are required to register for Quake Summit 2012. There will be a special joint registration option available if you plan to attend both the Quake Summit and the CMMI Grantee Conference.
