Former REU Student Continues Earthquake Engineering Work as EERI Post-Graduation Intern

Congratulations to Emmett Seymour, architectural engineering graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) on his opportunity with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) Post-Graduation Internship Program. Emmett participated in NEES' 2009 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at NEES@Berkeley, assisting with the Concrete Coalition (CC) Inventory Project, with which he still helps out. The EERI Post-Graduation Internship Program offers students relevant professional experience and networking opportunities through involvement with various projects, seminars, and publications. NEES is proud that he is continuing his effort in the field of earthquake engineering.
