MAST Laboratory Proposal Writers Webinar

The Multiaxial Subassemblage Testing System (MAST) Laboratory at the University of Minnesota will host a Proposal Writers Webinar on February 4, 2011 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Central time (2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific) to present the capabilities of a unique test system that enables three dimensional, quasistatic large-scale structural testing.

The webinar will provide prospective users with information necessary to develop a research proposal that takes advantage of the capabilities of the MAST 6-DOF System. The event includes an overview of the MAST system, equipment available for project use, control system, data acquisition, 3-D measurement system, and remote data viewing capabilities. Participants will have access to the MAST Laboratory via its telepresence site to view features and equipment discussed during the presentation. Prospective lab users will receive information to aid in planning, scheduling and budgeting large-scale structural testing research at MAST.

Please note that the MAST Laboratory currently has commitments to funded NEESR projects through Sept. 30, 2014 and is unable to accept any additional research project projects through Sept. 30, 2014.
