flexTPS installation for RHEL5 and CentOS 5?

Can the details of how to install flexTPS under RHEL5 be posted? Chad Feller formerly from UNR had provided Christopher Stanton and some other IT managers with the instructions on how to patch flexTPS for RHEL5 (and I assume for CentOS 5 also). RHEL4 is fairly outdated and the community needs information on how to get flexTPS running on the newer Enterprise OSes.

Links to the patches and instuctions for RHEL/CentOS 5 can be found at: http://cceer.unr.edu/facilities/video/flextps_install.html These notes add to Chad’s instructions, as I went through a new install, and Chad was working from a box that had been upgraded from RHEL 4. The latest patch is included. I will add fixes for SELinux shortly.

Please let me know if you have any problems, so I can correct the how-to. I plan to transfer this info to NEEShub beginning in Oct..

Do you know if there is an easier way to install FlexTPS on Centos 5.5? I’m having a lot of problems upgrading it from RedHat4. I think I have all dependencies solved (except Perl-Time-HiRes) but when I try “rpm -ivh *.rpm” I always get a conflict. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong?
