Compatibility with Axis M1113 IP-Cam?

Hello,

I am a research assistant in Middle East Technical University and is responsible for the installation of a telepresence system in our structural mechanics laboratory.

We have utilized a Axis 241Q server with analog cameras for the image acquisition. We are now trying to extend our system with 2 Axis M1113 fixed IP-Cam’s in the same way.

We are using RBNB v3.1, DTU 2.10 and RDV 2.2.2 on a Windows XP 32 bit system.

When we run RBNB server and DTU AxisSource utility together with proper options, both RBNB server and DTU AxisSource say that they are communicating. Also the source name defined with parameter -S is seen on RDV channel list. But, there are no children (i.e. no video view) The same procedure done for a Axis 241Q video gives no such error.

Is DTU supposed to support this type of cameras? We are aware of that, for instance, it works with Axis 214 PTZ IP-Cam’s.

Also, please send details on how to connect to your M1113 camera to daugh009 at umn dot edu.
