Error while trying to Initialize-SimCor

Dear Dr.Kwon,

I am sorry if my question is trivial but I am not very familiar with communication protocols, so I was wondering if you could help me again. I am trying to install SimCor to another pc (windows 7, matlab7.7.0(R2008a)). I followed the provided instructions (I run SimCor on my laptop) but when I try to run SimCor on my pc, I take the following error:


+ Initializing global variables . Initializing module, STATIC

??? Undefined function or method ‘tcpip’ for input arguments of type ‘char’.


Error in ==> MDL_RF.initialize at 113

Error in ==> InitializeSystem at 267
MDL = initialize(MDL);

    Olympia,

    It is because you do not have Instrument Control Toolbox with your Matlab. UI-SimCor use the tcpip function in the toolbox for communication.

    In the future, whenever I have some time, I will revise the script such that it can communicate w/o the tool box.
