In the near future, NEES will provide virtual conferencing and design tools for learning with one's peers. Currently in a closed Beta phase, the software is being tested with the 2010 REU program participants.

The virtual conferencing tools provide a simulated real-world presence for students and professionals to discuss engineering content and view presentations and simulation data online.

We encourage you to also look at the Collaborate section of the NEEShub to learn more about other collaboration tools that NEES offfers.
