|Description:||A half-day NEEShub Boot Camp training session in Austin, Texas is planned for THURSDAY, November 8th, 2012. The Boot Camp will start mid-morning and end in the mid-afternoon, which will facilitate day travel to Austin for those coming from out of town. The HANDS-ON training will include:
Introduction to the NEEShub and Data Curation
Hands on tutorials:
- Using the NEES Project Warehouse
- Uploading/downloading data to the Project Warehouse
- Data Visualization on the NEEShub
- Numerical simulation tools
- Access to high performance computing via the NEEShub
The Boot Camp will ensure that you and your students are ready to fulfill your obligations with respect to data archiving and sharing, and it will make you aware of the many simulation tools available via the NEEShub. NOTE: Laptops will be required to participate in hands-on tutorials. Tablets are not recommended.
