|Description:||NEES and PEER will host OpenSees Days 2011 at the University of California, Berkeley Richmond Field Station (RFS) in Richmond, CA on August 22nd, 2011 and 23rd, 2011.

Students, researchers, and practitioners are welcome to attend any of the days. Registration is free, lunch is provided, but space is limited to the first 100 applicants, and registration closes August 18, 2010.
August 22: OpenSees:Getting Started
The annual one-day workshop on how to use OpenSees will be more hands-on this year. This workshop is intended for beginning and intermediate users. This workshop will introduce users to the tcl scripting language, and basic modeling and analysis techniques using OpenSees.
August 23: OpenSees: Advanced Tools & Topics
A one-day workshop which will introduce users to more advanced capabilities of OpenSees and facilities made available through NEES. It will also introduce users to GUI's under development for OpenSees
