  • Biography

    Scott Brandenberg earned his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in June, 2000, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from UC Davis in Geotechnical Engineering in 2002, and 2005, respectively. He joined the faulty at UCLA in January 2006. His research topics include the behavior of pile foundations in liquefied and laterally spreading ground, seismic performance of levees founded on peaty organic soil, p-wave reflection imaging of embedded objects, and nonlinear site response of soft clay. He was a recipient of the 2010 ASCE Arthur Casagrande Professional Development Award.
