The National Conference on Earthquake Engineering is hosted every four years by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI). NEES Quake Summit 2014 is included as part of the 10NCEE.
The Conference will showcase nearly 800 presentations. The conference is broken into three session types: Plenary, Technical, and 5-in-5 Presentation & Poster Sessions.
Pre-Conference Workshops and Meetings will be held on Sunday for NEES Governance Board and on Monday for NEES committee meetings.
Special Events & Tours are distributed throughout the week. An opening reception will be held Monday evening and an evening out at the Alaska Native Heritage Center is planned for Thursday. Optional half day tours on Monday and Friday will take participants north or south of Anchorage to explore local scenery impacted by earthquakes. An optional four day tour will depart after the conference and will cover 900 miles.
