Abstract
The George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) and the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) combined their 2010 Annual Meetings into one joint conference: Quake Summit 2010!. For the first time, researchers from PEER and NEES projects gathered together to discuss future research projects and share their successes from the past year - with the goal of "shaking research forward".
Quake Summit 2010 was held on Friday & Saturday,October 8 - 9, 2010, San Francisco, California.The meeting contained both plenary and concurrent technical sessions, as well as a Poster Reception Friday evening where student researchers will display their research projects. NEES is also hosted a Media Competition.
