Abstract

In this video, Jason Lloyd explains how K-12 teachers can use a shake table to demonstrate the frequencies of structures. This demonstration can be applied to a multitude of lesson plans that include topics surrounding frequency, period, oscillation, structural dynamics, resonant frequency, and more.
