Site characterization using full waveform inversion

Published on

Abstract

This article contains results of the experiments conducted at the Hornsby bend site, Austin, TX. A full waveform inversion methodology, that uses field data, was used in order to find out the distribution of the elastic material properties of the Austin site. Results are in general good agreement with SASW and CPT methods.
