Researchers have created list of at-risk buildings in L.A.
ASCE SmartBrief | Nov 21 2013 | Newsletter | In their November SmartBrief email newsletter, the American Society of Civil Engineers included section with links to articles about a list of concrete buildings in the Los Angeles area at risk of collapse in the event of an earthquake compiled by a team of researchers led by Dr. Jack Moehle of UC Berkeley. The project is a NEES Grand Challenge study that took place at the NEES@Berkeley site. See attachment.
