Abstract
The nees@UTexas team demonstrated our Spectral-Analysis-of-Surface-Waves (SASW) testing technique at a Geophysical Field Camp hosted by Boise State University and Colorado School of Mines in Mount Priceton, Colorado on May 18th, 2009. A total of 20 students and faculty from London's Imperial College, Colorado School of Mines, Texas A&M University, and Boise State University participated in the demonstration. A WebEx seminar was held on June 2nd, 2009. Prof. Stokoe presented the SASW data reduction procedures in a 30 minute meeting for 12 students and faculty joining the meeting from the Colorado School of Mines campus.
This is a web based simluation of that technique in a form suitable for use by students. Press the "help!" Icon on the tool page when it is running for assitance. This tools requires Java (the same software that powers most NEEShub tools) to run correctly in your internet browser.
