This page contains a list of patches that should be applied to any installation of the SynchroNEES tool. This page is used for testing, before patches are deployed to the general public on the SynchroNEES Patches page.

Early Releases

Release 1.1.0

The following are early releases of SynchroNEES version 1.1.0 for each platform. (1/19/11)

The 1.1.0 release for 32-bit linux was refreshed on 2/9/11.

• This was built on centOS 5.2. It should fix some problems for those with older distributions like RHEL 5.

The 1.1.0 release was refreshed on 1/31/11.

• This should release candidate 1.

The 1.1.0 release was refreshed on 1/26/11.

The 1.1.0 release was refreshed on 1/24/11.

• Fix reported file size with files > 4 GB.
• Update to sftp client for Windows.
• Handle case where NEES password has expired.

The 1.1.0 release was refreshed on 1/20/11.

• Fix BLT bugs (tabset close button, treeview sort, italic font handling, bounding box of treeview entries).
• Fixed opaque busy window bug.
• Windows version built with MinGW gcc 4.5.0

Release 1.0.4

The following are early releases of SynchroNEES version 1.0.4 for each platform. (9/28/10)

The biggest changes are

• Fix for Windows 7 error when accessing “My Documents”.
• Added “open” menu item to open and an associated application with the selected file.
• BLT update: shared libraries moved into blt3.0 directory under new names.
• Windows version built with MinGW gcc 4.5.0

The 1.0.4 release was refreshed on 9/29/10.

• Fix for start command under Windows.

The 1.0.4 release was refreshed on 9/30/10.

• Fix for spaces in local files names.

Release 1.0.3

The following are early releases of SynchroNEES version 1.0.3 for each platform.

The biggest changes are the change over to the Tcl/Tk 8.5, BLT 4 and better diagnostics.

The 1.0.3 files were refreshed on 9/10/10.

• Updated panes.tcl, bugreport.tcl, progress.tcl, and scroller.tcl from latest versions in Rappture trunk.
• Fixed BLT package ifneeded bodies to correctly handle paths with spaces.
• On Windows, corrected Makefile to replace Tk icon with SynchroNEES icon.
• Fixed BLT treeview clipping problem.
• Windows version built with latest version of MinGW.

The Linux and Mac versions of 1.0.3 files were refreshed on 9/12/10.

All versions were refreshed on 9/14/10. A new 32-bit Linux version has been added.

• Updated patch.tcl.
• Fixed BLT treeview.tcl to handle directories with spaces.

Refreshed Windows version on 9/20/10.

• Fixed BLT resource leaks.
• Check for preview flag when attempting to interrupt a non-preview transfer.
• Added delay to preview generation to prevent multiple transfers of preview and non-preview.
• Added tests for “permission denied” to sftp expect switches.

All 1.0.3 versions have been refreshed on 9/21/10.

• Increased delay for preview to 1/2 second.
• Added “open” menu item. Still needs to be implemented for fp classes.
• Updated postern.tcl for MacOS.

All 1.0.3 versions have been refreshed on 9/22/10.

• Fixed popup menu bug in BLT.
• Remove “open” menu item.
• Updated bugreport.tcl.
• Added freetype and zlib to MacOS builds.

Let me know if 32-bit MacOS versions are needed.
