Description: Experiment was performed on October 14, 2010 in Miami, Oklahoma. A full geotechnical site evaluation was performed and provided in the documentation folder. A circular pipe pile with a diameter of 12.75", a sidewall thickness of 3/8", and a length of 23' was installed in soft clay. The pile cap was subjected to sinusoidal lateral loads at frequencies ranging from 0.4 Hz to 8 Hz and displacement magnitudes ranging from 0.01 inches to 4.5 inches. A hydraulic linear shaker from the NEES facility at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) was used to apply the loads.
