Experiment Type: Shake Table
Description: In this experiment, shake table tests were performed on a 5-story full scale steel moment frame building isolated with 4 lead-rubber bearings (LRBs) and 5 cross-linear bearings (CLBs). LRBs were located at edge column locations, and LRBs were located at center and corner column locations. 13 trials were performed over two days, with a variety of motions. The motions were selected to evaluate the performance of the isolation system to representative motions at U.S. nuclear power plant sites.
