Description: In this test, the soil culvert interaction was investegated under static and seismic loads. The static loads were comes from the weight of the soil as case A and surface strip foundation of 50 kPa right on top of culvert position as case B and the surface strip foundation of 100 kPa as case C. Case D was a 100 kPa rectangular foundation right of top of the culvert and in the middle of the it. In all the cases, the model run up to 60g and then the static data were collected. After reaching 60g, cases A, C and D were shaked with 3 earthquakes with different PGA values. The total number of shakings was 7 for each case. In this test, the Alumnium specimens were used to model the box culvert and the strip foundation, while the soil was a dry Nevada sand. The box culvert used in this test was a thin one (1/8 inch thick) and the relative density of the sand was 90%.
