PEN Quick Start - Making Asynchronous Changes

by Rachelle Howell, Ian Mathew

Making Asynchronous Changes

Asynchronous changes are changes made to the local PEN directory outside of the PEN tool. You can edit your local PEN directory outside of the PEN tool through your file browser.

Any changes that you make to the local directory will be reflected in the PEN tool either the next time you launch the tool (if it is not open while the asynchronous changes are being made) or upon either a project-level or object-level refresh (if the PEN tool is open while the asynchronous changes are being made). A tutorial on how to perform a refresh can be found here.

A folder has been added via the file browser
