PEN Quick Start - Connecting a Local Directory to a Project

by Rachelle Howell, Ian Mathew

Connecting a Local Directory to a Project

If you are working with a local-only directory, you may at some point want to connect that directory to your project.

Open the local directory as shown in this tutorial. Once the local directory is open, here are two ways to connect the local directory to a project.

The first way to connect the local directory to a project is to use the “Connect to Project” button at the top of the right panel (next to the “Not Connected” message).

The second way to connect the local directory to a project is to use the File > Connect menu option.

For both methods, you will need to specify the project number to which you wish to connect your local directory. If you are unsure of your project number and do not know how to find it, please reference the “Opening a Project” section of this tutorial.
