Files that appear in grey in the project directory structure are files that exist in the NEES Project Warehouse, but do not exist in the local directory. These files can be downloaded to the local directory.
You have several options for downloading these files.
- You can select the individual file that you want to download, right-click, and select “Download” from the menu that appears.
- You can also select the individual file and use the download link that appears in the right panel when a grey file is selected.
- You can select multiple files, right-click, and select “Download” from the menu that appears.
- You can select the parent directory, right-click, and select “Download” from the menu that appears. This will download all grey objects/files that exist below that parent directory. For example, a download performed on the Converted_Data folder will download all of the grey files in that folder. A download performed at the repetition level (on the Rep-# folder), will download any grey files that exist in the repetition (including all four data folders and the documentation folder). A download performed at the project level, will download all grey files in the project.
You can view the details of your download by clicking on the “Details” button to the right of the status bar in the right panel.
Canceling a Download
You can cancel a download by clicking the “x” button to the right of the status bar in the right panel. If you cancel a multi-file download, the download of the current file and all remaining files will be canceled. If you have confirmation popups turned on (Tools > Preferences menu), you will be shown a confirmation dialog that tells you which files were successfully downloaded and which were canceled.
