PEN Quick Start - Navigating the Project Directory

by Rachelle Howell, Ian Mathew

Navigating the Project Directory

When you connect to a project, the project directory structure will be shown in the left panel of the PEN tool. This directory structure corresponds to the directory structure that exists in the NEES Project Warehouse. A diagram of this structure is provided here.

The local directory is connected to the project at the highest level. The local directory that you specified corresponds to the project, and all experiments, simulations, hybrids, etc. are created as sub-directories of this parent folder.

To expand/collapse objects (i.e., experiments, simulations, etc.) and directories in the directory view, use the +/- sign next to the object/directory.
