Simulations as a web service
I think it is fantastic that it is possible to use opensees directly on the neeshub. I think this is a great tool for NEES members that might not have the computational power required to run large simulations.
One addition that would make this tool even more powerful is to have it available as a web service where users can submit opensees jobs (or other type of simulation) and the service would provide the results of the simulation. This could have several uses such as structural optimization or structural health monitoring where running models with different parameters (or different meshes) is needed. In this case one piece of software (i.e. the software performing the optimization) could talk with the NEEShub via the web service. The NEEShub can take care of the structural simulations while the other software performs the optimization.
