Simulations in the Project Editor

I can currently create simulations in PEN. These simulations appear as simulation-# in my list of experiments. I would like to be able to create simulations in the Project Editor as well so that I can possibly input more information associated with each simulation such as drawings of the numerical model or plots of the analyses results.

Thank you for contributing your wish to NEEShub. We value feedback from the community as a means to regularly improve NEEShub. All wishes are considered and prioritized by the Requirement Analysis and Assessment Subcommittee, which consists of members from the user community. The prioritized wishes are then aligned with the immediate and long-term NEES goals by the Cyberinfrastructure Release Committee so that a workable development plan for the next Release of NEEShub can be designed.

Your wish will be considered for a future release.

Rachelle – we’ve been thinking about this general issue and plan to work on it after the holidays. We’d appreciate your thoughts on how you see Simulations fitting into the structure of the Project Warehouse. We also need to consider what metadata should be collected about simulations to make them easy to search and to return helpful search results.

    thanks, Dawn

Perfect timing :) I’m going to start running a new set of simulations after the holiday and I’d like to put the data up on the hub. I’ll start gathering my thoughts and ideas…
