International Partners

NEES works closely with other Federal agencies in areas of research and education to support NEES participation in international scientific efforts. Promoting partnerships is one of our core strategies. Collaboration and partnerships between disciplines and institutions and among academe, industry, and government enable the movement of people, ideas, and tools throughout the public and private sectors.

NEEScomm participates in an annual earthquake engineering workshop with Dalian University in China. The 4th annual "China and USA Collaboration for Disaster Evolution/Resilience of Civil Infrastructure and Urban Environment" took place in August, 2013, as part of the annual Quake Summit. Read about the outcomes of the workshops on the NEEShub.
