MAST Laboratory Proposal Writers Webinar

The MAST Laboratory at the University of Minnesota will host a Proposal Writers Webinar on February 4, 2011 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM central time to present the capabilities of a unique test system that enables threedimensional, quasistatic large-scale structural testing.

The purpose of the Webinar is to provide prospective users with information necessary to develop a research proposal that takes advantage of the capabilities of the MAST 6-DOF System. The Webinar will include an overview of MAST system, equipment available for project use, control system, data acquisition, 3-D measurement system, and remote data viewing capabilities. Participants will have access to the MAST Laboratory via our telepresence site to view features and equipment discussed during the Webinar.

The Training Webinar will provide prospective lab users with information to aid in planning, scheduling and budgeting large-scale structural testing research at MAST. Please note that the MAST Laboratory currently has commitments to funded NEESR projects through Sept. 30, 2014 and is unable to accept any additional research project projects through Sept. 30, 2014.
