Description: Testing at the University of Hawaii @ Manoa as part of Project Task 2: Connector Development. This experiment is the second round of testing the prototypical connector plates. These tests focus on connectors that attach to the above I-beam via plates welded flange-flange on either side of the beam (with the exception of the bent-plate test in Trial 6). In each test, two connectors, one on each side of the beam, are loaded simultaneously, thus the data reflects the combined performance of the connector plates.
